Client Need
A large international banking corporation was seeking
to improve the accuracy of its selection process right across
Asia Pacific locations without 'blowing out' recruitment and
selection costs.
CompAssess Solution
CompAssess was engaged to partner with the bank to develop
consistent and cost effective selection assessment processes
across a wide variety of locations throughout Asia.
Several options and models were raised and submitted to cost
benefit analysis before a decision was jointly made by CompAssess
and the client to adopt an on-line solution.
Standardised tests with appropriate and quality normative
data for candidate comparisons were selected. To ensure a
smooth and professional administration of the tests as well
as to counter security and candidate identity issues, client
specific protocols were developed and test administrators
were trained in each operating location.
The process accommodated for the professional administration
of the designated test batteries on-line, while test interpretation,
report preparation and client/candidate feedback was managed
centrally from CompAssess's regional hubs in Sydney and Melbourne.
Outcome
The process is working seamlessly and cost effectively across
Asia and cyber-space. In fact, the success of the model is
such that other CompAssess clients have taken up the on-line
service in North American and European locations.
