Business Management

CompAssess is managed by a four person management team.

Mark McCutcheon

Mark has over 15 years experience in human resource management and organisational psychology in Australia and the UK. Before launching CompAssess, he spent the previous four years as a Principal Consultant with DDI Asia Pacific. Prior to this he worked in various organisational psychology and human resource development roles with Morgan & Banks in Australia and the Department of Employment in the UK. He has particular experience in competency development and assessment, and in the design of competency-based human resource systems. He has consulted to a diverse range of organisations including ABN AMRO, AMP, Citigroup, DuPont, Commonwealth Bank, Goodman Fielder, Lend Lease, Merck Sharpe & Dohme, Vodafone and many others.

Mark is the Director of Consulting for CompAssess and jointly manages the Sydney office with Rob Atkins. Mark plays a leadership role in terms of evaluating and developing new and improved assessment tools and approaches. He has published numerous on assessment and talent management in the UK and Australia.

His qualifications include an MSc (distinction) in Organisational Psychology, a Diploma in Human Resources Management and a BSc in Psychology (Honours). He is an accredited facilitator of Targeted Selection and Interaction Management as well as various other human resource tools and methodologies.

Rob Atkins

With over 15 years experience in Human Resource Development, Rob has specialised in the design, implementation and evaluation of systems and strategies to optimise the human capital contribution to organisational success. He has designed and led major change projects within a number of industries including manufacturing, resources, telecommunications, hospitality, engineering, pharmaceuticals and financial services. He has particular experience in competency based change processes and systems, driving strategic business imperatives through the integration of competency profiles, capability assessment, and performance management and development systems.

In more recent years, Rob has developed an interest and expertise in Talent Management strategies for organisations, helping identify high potential individuals, accelerate their development and provide them with suitably challenging an rewarding career opportunities that secures their retention.

Rob is the Marketing Director for CompAssess and jointly manages the Sydney office with Mark McCutcheon.

Rob is a fully registered psychologist and completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) in 1987 at the University of New South Wales. After gaining valuable practical experience, he returned to studies, completing a Master of Applied Psychology (Honours) in 1993, also at the University of New South Wales. To develop a broader appreciation of the business context of organisational psychology, Rob also completed a Master of Business Administration in 1997 from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management. In addition to the aforementioned degree qualifications, Rob has also completed many short courses in a broad range of business and psychology fields.

Cassy Schulz

Cassy Schulz manages the Brisbane office for CompAssess and has more than 10 years consulting experience within psychology and the Human Resources area.

She has designed, delivered and managed numerous projects involving talent acquisition, leadership development, and organisational analysis for a range of public and private organisations. Cassy has particular expertise in assessment methodology, including developing organisational and role specific capability frameworks, psychometric testing including test development, assessment centre design and implementation, and feedbacks. She has worked at the individual, team and executive levels.

Prior to joining CompAssess in 2002 Cassy worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant. She was national head of group recruitment and specialised in designing and managing assessment centres for clients both in the public and private sectors. Her main area of focus was graduate recruitment.

Cassy is a fully registered Psychologist and has completed a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology.

Felicity Davis

Felicity Davis manages the Melbourne office for CompAssess. Her specific expertise and experience lie in the areas of psychometric assessment, competency design, assessment and development centre design and implementation, and leadership development.

She has experience in key aspects of the assessment centre methodology including success profiling; design of assessment centre activities with a specific emphasis on behavioural simulations; management of assessment centres; assessment processes and evaluation tools; and reporting and feedback of results (group and individual level).

She also has experience in organisational / 360° survey design, delivery and implementation, management support / performance coaching, career transition services, and the design / delivery of L&D workshops.

Prior to joining CompAssess in 2004, Felicity gained experience in consulting, with a focus on psychological assessment and career coaching / workplace counselling. A qualified organisational psychologist, Felicity holds a Bachelor of Arts; Bachelor of Science (Hons: Psychology) and Master of Organisational / Industrial Psychology (University of Melbourne).
